Walking together – Wedding Puglia Film
In the story of “Walking together – wedding Puglia Film” I would like to start from the end. Cause – I won’t hide from you – a little vanity flows in my veins like in all those who consider ambition and love of their work the propulsive spring. Being a wedding video maker, drives me crazy. Well, a few days ago, Weva (The Worldwide Event Videographers Association) told me that the video “Walking Together – Wedding Puglia Fim” (published a few months ago) was awarded as “Video of the day ” and Editors’ Choice, among the top six best weddings videos of the last six months. A source of pride: Weva evaluates and judges the work of the best video makers in Italy and in the world every day. And even being included as one of the best video maker in Italy make me very happy.
Ok, I do it shortly. I’ll tell you how the Walking Together concept was born, which is definitely more interesting.
The Concept
A good videographer, before starting to shoot, inspects everything around him. Study the spouses, parents and guests, examine the wedding location, the getting ready location, the ceremony location. In this way, shooting a wedding video is like shooting the scenes of a real movie. The protagonists are the spouses, the setting is the location. The videographer takes care of creating the script around them, telling their story.
On that day my attention fell on one detail: Luca and Ramona, the two young Apulian spouses, often walked hand in hand. A gesture of disarming but very significant simplicity. With that idea “Walking Together – Wedding Puglia Film” came by itself.
Location Wedding Puglia
Well, I don’t want to tell you how cool it is to get married in Puglia: the sea, the countryside, the traditions. As always, everything is fantastic. A few words, however, I would like to spend on the location of this Apulian wedding: Tenuta Pinto. A farm that has the appearance of the old country houses, immersed in a lush rural landscape, in a fascinating peace. The music band chosen by Luca and Ramona was perfect in this paradise, transmitting a lot of joy with a highly sought-after musical choice and a rich selection of wines and beers. That day I had the pleasure of working with my great friend Andrea Calvano, one of the best wedding photojournalists in Italy. It was a great satisfaction that Ramona chose us as storytellers of her Apulian wedding. Ramona is a colleague, a wedding photographer too and so she knows professionals in every part of Italy.
